Funfair Fanfare: Fayre Play Opens its Doors in Glasgow

Fayre Play, Scotland’s first adults only fairground games experience, has now opened the doors to its must visit venue packed with competitive fairground games, cocktails, street food and more. Fayre Play has been created by the team behind the city’s hugely popular crazy golf course, Fore Play Crazy Golf, who have been hard at work transforming their Glasgow site into this fresh new concept.

Customers will be able to enjoy an exciting new set of challenges, competing against their mates to win a selection of fun prizes across a host of carefully curated fairground games, which have been given a distinctly Scottish twang. These include:

• Tinning Park (Tin Can Alley)
• Shots Fired (Shooting Game)
• Cannae Whack It (Whack-a-mole)
• Skee-Baw (Skeeball)
• Slam Drunk (Basketball)
• Bulls Aye (Darts)
• Lucky Tosser (Hoopla)
• Plenty O’ Fish (Fishbowl)
• Duck Hunt (Hook a Duck)

Alongside the fairground games, Fayre Play will also offer a selection of creative fairground themed cocktails which include:

• Clown Star Martini
• Merry Go Rum
• Toffee Appletini
• Roll up, Roll up Mocktail

And a selection of new hot dogs:

• Corn Dogs with a selection of sauces
• Chilli dogs with beef chilli, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, crispy onion and melted cheese sauce in a brioche bun
• The ‘Scottie Dog’ with Haggis, cheese and pickled red cabbage on a brioche bun
• ‘The New Yorker’ hotdog with grilled sauerkraut, caramelised onions and mustard on a brioche bun

All with vegan and vegetarian options available.

In addition to the new fairground themed cocktails, new flavoursome menu items including all new burgers:

• The Strongman – Two 4oz British beef, grilled bacon, melted cheddar cheese, homemade burger sauce, pickles, caramelised onion, lettuce, tomato and burger relish. Served in a toasted brioche bun
• The Fire Eater – Buttermilk fried panko chicken breast, house katsu mayo, homemade pickle slaw, gem lettuce and jalapeños. Served in a toasted brioche bun
• The Lion Tamer – Vegan patty, vegan cheese, pickles, tomato, burger relish, lettuce and onion rings. Served in a vegan brioche-style bun.
